I'm the kind of person that likes to celebrate one holiday at a time. I get frustrated having to watch Christmas commercials when we haven't even had Thanksgiving yet! Come on, I'm not ready to get into the Christmas spirit yet, I still want to enjoy pumpkin pie and other delicious fall treats!

That being said, it's never to early to start thinking about your outfits for the holiday parties you'll inevitably be invited to. There's nothing worse than being stranded at the last minute with nothing special to wear. I'll admit that I already have two holiday party outfits planned out and the invites haven't even been sent for those parties yet! Be prepared, people!

I really thought of this cute eyelet sweater as a fall piece when I bought it for the shop, but I think it works just as well for winter. You don't have to give up your earth tones for the holidays...just add a pop of color! Or two pops of color! Red tights make everything more festive, don't you agree?
